New Porcupine Tree Album in 2009

During an excellent set at the IndigO2 in London last night, SW mentioned that they are already underway writing new material. At the end of the gig he indicated that Porcupine Tree would return next year with a new album.

    ahh! :D i can’t wait. hope they come back to Australia, i missed them this year…
    i wonder if Steven will tour his solo album….

    I don’t think he’ll be touring, because he’s writing with the pt crew, and they have announced a tour to follow. As sweet as Insurgentes is, new PT and live PT are far sweeter.

    PT is coming to Chicago in Sept ’09!!! I’m SOO stoked. I hope they play some new material. P.S….I think I just wet myself too. :)

    hell yeah! just secured tickets for Seattle! why are they doing the tours before they album gets released? I thought usually they go in support after the release?

    I’m going to see them in September in Portland. I can’t wait to see them and I wanna hear their new album NOW.
