I’m gonna buy the regular CD and wait till the 5.1 mix is issued on DVD-A. The DVD-A will probably have more songs and videos on it than the DVD that comes with the limited edition.

$106.99? Seriously? Are the CDs gold plated or the booklets autographed with personal dedications? Previous albums released as DVD-A were not more than $20

The deluxe edition will include a nice candlelight dinner at Wilson’s own place, that’s why it’s so darn expensive. You can expect a nice evening, a great meal, great dinner conversation and great company.

When the EU pre-order goes up on Roadrunner later today, I’ll pre-order it.

I’d gladly pay $107 (or more) for a front row ticket to a PT concert, but not for a CD. I’m already regretting spending $80 on the new U2 album. Awesome album, but I didn’t like the movie that came with it on DVD, and I could’ve done without the extra book and poster.

$107 for the special edition … rather high …
early access to Time Flies … priceless …
(is it me, or does it really sound like Dogs (from Pink Floyd/Animals)? Nevertheless, another PT classic in the making. Too bad the preview is only a 5 1/2-minute edit of the 11+-minute song.)

If someone has pre-ordered the Regular Edition from play.com, it comes with a free digital track – “Way Out of Here (Live)”. I’d love to hear it, especially if it comes from the new DVD!!

Yeah 107 is maybe too much but 2CD, 1DVD and 2 books are just fine for that price. And as Steven says ist a piece of Art. I pre-ordered for £60 and got ticket for their gig in Austria, looking forward to it ;)
