$107 bucks for the LTD ED???? That’s f-ing extortion. But I’m unable to convince myself not to buy it…

Damn it’s good to be immune to the global recession :)

Even though it includes two books and the surround mix, I think it’s way overpriced. Seriously, as a faithful PT fan even I would not buy this. This is rip-off!

Can anyone confirm that a 5.1 mix will be available after the fact? it’s been done in the past, but what about this time?

Great! I like to support the artist, but $107 is kinda steep, and as long as I can get the 5.1 mix separately later, I’ll get that one.

I agree it is quite expensive for an album that will likely get released in 5.1 in a standard release down the track, BUT at the same time if it’s like Insurgentes it is a very collectable item. Plus, the music is probably the best currently in the world of prog so for someone who is a die-hard fan and can afford it, I think it’s priced ok. I also think it’s good to get some value into these items after so many musicians complain about illegal downloading costing them sales. PT is being proactive in producing musical items that CAN’T be downloaded, but enhance the musical experience.

hi anybody know just how many copies of the “special edition boxset” will be released.
even in view of the high price if it anything like the quality of insurgentes then i will be buying it.
